King is a sturdy grey pony with big brown eyes.  He is a barn favorite and has been one of the hardest working ponies in all of our programs since his arrival.  This past year he has struggled with recurring abscesses in his right hooves, but thanks to the generosity of his supporters, he is currently recovering from hoof surgery, and we are looking forward to returning a healthy King to lessons.

So glad you have come to Valley Riding. You are such a sweet pony. I love leading you in TRP classes. Sometimes you get a little nervous meeting new things for the first time, but you get used to them quickly. You have such a beautiful face and love your mane!

King is a very good boy. He listens, (most of the time) and has a very good pace. He can be hard to groom sometimes, but that does not change my liking for him. If you know how to make him happy, he will not mind you at all! He is a very cute little pony and I love him so much !

    Dear King AKA Potato,
I rode Jimmy for years but last week I got to ride you for the first time. You were so good to me and I love your potato coat. I got to ride you again today and you were such a good boy for me. I hope I get to ride you again next weekend because you are such a fun horse to ride. I love you potato!

    Dear king,

I ride you in almost every lesson and you were the first pony I cantered on and it was amazing! You were a little speedy but I got you to slow down. You taught me how to really handle a horse.
