Davin is a Norwegian Fjord. You may recognize him from the 2016 and 2017 Horse Festival Viking Demonstrations.  Davin is a unique and stocky breed with a distinct appearance, including a mane that is clipped in a crescent shape, standing straight up 2-4 inches.  Davin seems to fitting in well to our lesson program and is enjoying his new role.

Davin is such an awesome horse, his trot and canter are so smooth and he is really fun to ride. I rode him for my third show and we got a first and a third because I accidently turned to late on the twenty meter! I really enjoy when we use him in pony camp for bareback rides because he is so good with the campers and really fun to lead.

Davin is super smooth to ride, and super easy to sit the trot to! Marty always says he is the Cadillac of horses! Davin has a really nice canter and he’s very easy going and always a good listener! It’s also a fun time when we use him in pony camp for bareback rides as he is so laid back and easy to help with! I hope I get to ride this big boy again soon!
