Horse Camps


Generally offered in the summer only

We provide Horse Camps for beginners or riders with limited formal instruction. Ages 8-14, weight limit 160 lbs.

During camps we provide a daily riding lesson, grooming, basic horse care, tack care and barn safety. 

Riding attire: Long pants, hard soled low heeled shoes or boots, no tennis shoes. Riding helmets must be worn and may be borrowed from Valley Ringing Inc.

Therapeutic Riding


The Therapeutic Riding Program (TRP) at Rocky River Stables has been providing equine-assisted activities for individuals with disabilities since 1988. Girl/Boy Scout Group Riding Program


This two hour program includes a tour of the facility, a basic groom demonstration, and a riding lesson. On the day of the program, a Valley Riding Inc. instructor will meet the group in the front lobby, review safety rules, and escort the group into the barn. 

Children must be at least 8 years old and under 160 pounds.
Maximum 8-10 riders.
