Esteemed Photographer Barb Bower will be presenting a program at Rocky River Stables at 1:00 PM about the Chincoteague/Assateague ponies. Her trip to Chincoteague had been on her bucket list and she decided it was only a drive and needed to make the excursion happen. She learned a lot by visiting the island and did not understand the “wild ponies” until making the trip. This is where the book “Misty of Chinconteague” is from. Of course she has lots of photos but also lots of information on how and when to make the trip. And hear about her new book ” Equestrian Photography”!
